Bespoke Kitchen Design in Bath & Bristol

As an independent kitchen retailer & designer I work with homeowners across Bath, Bristol, Bradford-on-Avon, Somerset & Wiltshire to create beautiful, functional kitchens – from the very first sketch to the day the fitters leave.

A kitchen designer who actually listens

I’m Vicky Elmore, an independent kitchen designer with over 10 years of experience running my own studio and heading up design at another award-winning kitchen retailer.

My work has been recognised with a Highly Commended at the Bath Property Awards 2025, a Finalist place at the Bristol Property Awards 2025, and Finalist at Spatial Design Creative Bath in both 2025 and 2026. I was named a Finalist in the Retail Business category at the Enterprise Vision Awards 2026 (the UK’s largest celebration of women in business). In February 2026, I was awarded Best of Houzz for Client Satisfaction, rated at the highest level by the Houzz community.

Now I work independently, which means every project gets my full attention. There’s no junior passing your brief on, no commission target driving the conversation – just me, working closely with you, from the first cup of tea to the final snag list.

More about me

“I have a deep passion for Kitchen Design. My mission is to create beautiful, functional spaces that truly reflect the practical needs and personal style of my clients. I believe that a well-designed kitchen is the heart of any home, where both aesthetics and functionality come together to enhance daily living.”

Vicky Elmore – Independent Kitchen Designer & Business owner

Beautiful kitchens, built around your life

From sleek handleless designs to classic shaker styles, every kitchen I design is made to order by an independent manufacturer based right here in Bristol. That means genuinely bespoke, not a standard range with a few tweaks.

Whether you’re building an extension, reconfiguring a Victorian terrace, or starting from scratch in a new build, the kitchen you end up with will be designed specifically for your space, your lifestyle, and your budget.

Why choose Vicky Elmore Kitchens?

Working with an independent designer is a very different experience to visiting a showroom, and usually a better one.

I come to you. Every project starts with a visit to your home, so I can understand your space, your light, and how you actually live. I bring samples with me, so you can see materials and finishes in your own surroundings rather than under showroom lighting.

Because I don’t carry the overheads of a big showroom or a team of staff, I can offer genuinely competitive pricing without compromising on quality. And because my kitchens are made to order, the possibilities are far wider than you’d find on any high street.

Most importantly, I’m with you every step of the way, from initial ideas to installation day. You’ll always speak to me, not an assistant or call centre.

Why choose independent?

I come to you – no showroom visit required; I design in the context of your actual space

Competitive pricing – lower overheads mean more of your budget goes into your kitchen

One point of contact – I’ll handle your project from start to finish

How it works

Getting a new kitchen with Vicky Elmore Kitchens is straightforward. Here’s what to expect:

STEP ONE

Free design appointment

We start with a visit to your home, where I measure your space, ask about how you cook and live, and get a real feel for what you’re after. There’s no sales pressure – just an honest conversation about what’s possible.

STEP TWO

Design and 3D renders

I create a detailed design for your kitchen, complete with 3D visualisations so you can see exactly how it will look before anything is ordered. We refine it together until it’s exactly right.

STEP THREE

Specification and supply

Once you’re happy with the design, I handle all the specification, sourcing, and ordering from the cabinetry and worktops right through to appliances and hardware.

STEP FOUR

Installation and project management

I work with a trusted network of local installers and trades, and I personally oversee the project from start to finish. On budget, on time, and exactly as designed.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Vicky after I had used two national kitchen companies and got quotes/plans etc. I was not keen on the limited designs nor their hard sell and Vicky was a breath of fresh air!

She was amazing and her kitchen design was wonderful. She understood our budget and listened to what we wanted. Because of her knowledge and experience she was able to produce a bespoke, beautiful kitchen and give her advice and view along the way. She was so helpful and supportive and managed everything.

She recommended a builder and his team who were brilliant. Simon came with a team of trades who did everything (we had building work completed) and they were so efficient and professional and the finish was great.

Working with Vicky was a joy from start to finish, the kitchen is stunning and works for our family and I can not recommend her enough!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From start to finish, Vicky has managed to deliver a service that I don't think exists anywhere else! We put off getting our kitchen done for many years which included a bit of restructuring and shuffling of rooms, thinking it's just not affordable and with 2 young kids I thought we'd be mad. We started to do some research (as it's all we ever talked about) to see if it was possible. We liaised with a few reputable kitchen companies and designers for advice and quotes, and constantly got overwhelmed by the project (and price). We then came across Vicky on Instagram, thinking she would be way out of reach, but thought it was worth an enquiry.

Vicky from the get go is a very personable, real, genuine and evidently knowledgeable person. She somehow asked the right questions or could just tell how we lived our lives and she knew exactly what we needed in our space without knowing it ourselves - she did a design that we fell in love with (didn't change a thing), and to top it all off, it came in at a price, even cheaper than well known value kitchen companies. The quote included all the little details that a lot of places don't consider, like lighting and the drawers.

We fell in love with the design and pricing but were struggling to find anyone reputable to quote the work's/fit us in any time in the year. This is where Vicky's trusted trades came in - they were everything we dreamed of. Reliable, reasonable, honest, knowledgeable. The moment we gave the go ahead, every part of the project has been reliably achieved. Vicky helps coordinate the timeline and trades and it was all so smooth. The whole process I was able to focus on paint colours and storage solutions rather than the horror stories you tend to hear about.

I genuinely felt like we took a leap of faith in Vicky and her trades, as everything felt too good to be true, but 2 months on after all the works have been done, I can vouch for the fact that Vicky really is everything she and her shining reviews say about her!

Thank you Vicky, you'll be getting a lifetime worth of referrals from us !

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A Dream Kitchen Delivered!
We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen, designed and project managed by Vicky Elmore Kitchens. From the very beginning of the design process to the finishing touches, Vicky was nothing short of amazing.
Vicky’s professionalism shone through at every stage. She took the time to really understand our needs and work with us using her knowledge and expertise, which were evident in every suggestion she made. We always felt reassured that we could step back and trust Vicky to handle everything, knowing we were in safe hands.
We were also very happy with the tradespeople she recommended, all of whom carried out their work to an excellent standard and contributed to the seamless completion of our kitchen.
Communication was always clear and prompt, and Vicky was consistently responsive to our questions and any adjustments we wanted to make. Her attention to detail was exceptional, ensuring that every aspect of the kitchen was finished to the highest standard.
It’s clear that Vicky truly knows her stuff. We couldn’t be happier with the end result and would wholeheartedly recommend Vicky Elmore Kitchens to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-crafted kitchen.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a brilliant experience with Vicky and ended up with the kitchen of our dreams! She coaxed out of us our deepest kitchens desires, encouraged us to be braver with the style than we would have dared, walked us through hundreds of decisions, cultivated our best ideas and vetoed our worst, and importantly helped us really understand each decision we made in the context of actual practicality and impact. Not to mention she saved us a lot of money from the off-the-shelf prices (and definitely bent over backwards to stay within the budget we described to her). I have no doubt we ended up with a considerably better kitchen than we would have going with a ‘chain’ or trying to go without a designer. On top of that she was absolutely lovely and down-to-earth to deal with. I would hesitate to recommend her!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were so lucky to find Vicky when we were planning our new kitchen and utility room as part of an extension and internal remodel. She guided us in the planning and design of our new space, answering our many questions, reassuring us about decisions, being honest about ideas she thought wouldn't work and giving information about the life cycle of the project. We were especially pleased with the detailed plans, 3D images and quote Vicky provided. The 3D images were particularly helpful for our builders. She visited the site during the build to ensure that any potential issues were identified prior to ordering the units. Vicky is exceptionally easy and friendly to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner. The kitchen fitter she works with did an excellent job and the cabinetry, worktops and appliances are high quality. Vicky's quote was extremely competitive for such an individual and thorough service. We are delighted with our kitchen and utility room and would not hesitate to recommend Vicky's services.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having recently lost my husband I needed to have a few changes made to my kitchen. Vicky was so patient and kind! Vicky kept me informed at every stage of the project right unto a day before I should have arrived home. Communication was impeccable. Then quality of the work is to a very high standard. Value for money is one of the high points with Vicky. I did have a number of the quotes but no one came close to Vicky. Vicky was happy to have the work done while I was away to avoid me not having a kitchen for three weeks. I highly recommend Vicky and her team! If I had another kitchen I would definitely get Vicky in again.
